The organizers vividly recreate the masterpieces of two renowned painters through world-class projection technology, interactive displays, and 3D mapping. Particularly
in this exhibition, attendees' experiential journey is meticulously designed with 21 "touchpoints," blending advanced technology to sequentially immerse the audience into
the mesmerizing and creative worlds of Van Gogh and Monet. This immersive world offers an experience that impacts all five senses, transcending the traditional act of
viewing and appreciating paintings.

The organizers reveal that the exhibition's greatest challenge lies in authentically capturing and harmonizing the unique artistic journeys of both painters. Art
enthusiasts visiting the exhibition will marvel at nearly 100 masterpieces that conceal stories rich with charm from Monet, immersing themselves in the vibrant "Monet's
Garden" or the radiant "Flower Room." From Monet's world, viewers will step into Van Gogh's realm, indulging in meticulously recreated essence.

META SHOW

Lê Thị Quế Hương, also known as Một Quả Tắc, graduated in silk painting from the Fine Arts Faculty at Ho Chi Minh City University of Fine Arts in 1996. The
exhibition "Xôn xao" features silk paintings centered around humans and plant life within living spaces.

In her exhibition "Xôn xao," Một Quả Tắc shares:In a world that feels like a draft, the improvisational and patchwork spirit of NGUCHONOBAY is ever-present: neon
blue laser beams crisscrossing the walls; a makeshift conveyor belt clattering away yet effectively transporting artworks; pieces hanging suspended by pulley ropes in a
windowless break room, complete with a seat cushion and a fake banana plant; fabric curtains made of cotton, plastic, and PVC scattered as needed. The focus isn’t on
glamour, but on creating value from what is available. This reflects the resourceful spirit of the local culture—crafting can be seen as an act of survival.

Lãng's paintings lead us to ambiguous spaces where anonymous characters engage in unusual activities, sometimes involving violence and chaos. This seemingly cheerful
scene emerges against a backdrop of vivid colors and glossy surfaces. Đỗ Thanh Lãng often sources images from the internet and media channels, transforming them into
(non)imaginary contexts. These scenarios aren't as bizarre as they appear, yet they conceal a tension that seeps through layers of paint and resin.

If Lãng's work conveys a sense of cold detachment, Nguyễn Đức Đạt’s pieces are filled with emotion and instinct. Daily (offline) life, moments of beauty and the unusual in
the world, and global socio-political conflicts are depicted with authenticity, interweaving absurdity and profound storytelling.

"Nature and humanity have been a central theme in my work in recent years. Amid the hustle and bustle of life, I want to capture those peaceful moments when we watch a
cluster of trees swaying in the wind, a blooming flower stirring with excitement, and the gentle rustle of plants that touches our souls. I cherish such tranquil moments.
And so, I chase after the seasons of flowers.

Karaoke – Karaoke" is a solo exhibition by artist Đoàn Văn Tới, organized by Gallery Indochine House. The phrase "Karaoke – Karaoke," derived from a popular form of
entertainment, is repeated twice like a mantra. Its significance lies in the observer's internal attitude, hinting at the nature of singing that doesn't move faster or slower
than the lyrics on the screen, but rather emphasizes being present and fully living each moment. "Karaoke – Karaoke," along with "Gate – Gate" (the Pali title of Đoàn Văn
Tới's first solo exhibition), represents just two of countless mantras that occur continuously everDuring his lifetime, the renowned artist Lê Bá Đảng (1939 - 2015) had
envisioned carving a mountain and creating an exhibition in a space resembling a cave. His wishes and sketches have inspired efforts to design the space for this exhibition.

Creating a display space with numerous installation concepts is a challenge, especially within the Ho Chi Minh City Museum of Fine Arts—a city-level architectural and
artistic monument that has been recognized as a heritage site since 2012.

From a collection of 236 valuable works and documents donated by Lê Tất Luyện and Thụy Khuê, 27 paintings, sculptures, illustrated books, and engravings have been
selected for permanent display in the Lê Bá Đảng Art Space. Visitors to the exhibition have the opportunity to explore three main themes: Space, Sắc Không (Form and
Emptiness), and Printmaking. The works in each theme are carefully arranged in designs with depth, meticulously organized from the space layout to the exhibition
lighting.

All of this aims to highlight the distinctive aspects of Lê Bá Đảng’s creative style and artistic journey, reflecting his unique artistic vision and life philosophy.

Under the theme of Space, since 1985, Lê Bá Đảng has broken traditional boundaries to create a unique form of art combining painting, sculpture, and relief carving across
various materials. His concept of space is not just a physical setting but also a philosophical realm where humanity, materiality, and the universe intersect.

For the Sắc Không theme, during his return to Vietnam in 1992, Lê Bá Đảng began to develop ideas for outdoor works inspired by the Buddhist philosophy "form is
emptiness, emptiness is form." He created numerous sculptures using materials such as steel and iron, with hollow forms that were both symbolic and conceptual. These
works are not only artistic creations but also offer a new perspective on life and the universe.

The Printmaking theme—his technique of hand-printing—again showcases his boundless creativity in utilizing diverse materials and applying techniques like relief
printing, lithography, and screen printing to enrich both the content and form of his works.

Two celestial bodies, Heavenly Palace, The Dark Side of the Earth, The Temporary World, The Road to Immortality... these are works that harmoniously combine
technique, materials, and the artistic perspective of Lê Bá Đảng.

ywhere. In alignment with the Buddhist teaching of "not holding onto the past, not chasing the future, but seeing everything fully in the present as it is," their sole purpose
is to remind individuals to return to the present and seek inner peace.

In the "Karaoke – Karaoke" exhibition, featuring over 50 visual artworks, Đoàn Văn Tới continues to explore the harmony between artistic practice and mindfulness. The
exhibition encompasses three thematic lines that correspond to the artist's expanding scope of observation.

Through works of propaganda art, photography, newspapers, and a book on stamps, the exhibition aims to showcase the diversity of techniques and materials used in
artistic creations focused on building Socialism and overthrowing imperialism in Vietnam from 1945 to 1985.

This exhibition presents an opportunity for the Dogma Collection to display works across various styles and mediums—from woodblock prints to paintings and
photography—to explore the uniqueness of how each medium conveys messages of solidarity, resistance, and empowerment of the public. Set against the backdrop of a
tumultuous period in Vietnamese history, the exhibition “Crafting a Message” seeks to reveal that behind the urgent messages of historical campaigns in these artworks lies
a thoughtful consideration of form and the artistic value in "crafting" those messages.

Continuing his recent creative journey, the Dòng Chìm
Đáy Nước exhibition offers viewers a concise introduction
to the development of Ca Lê Thắng's artistic language,
featuring more than 20 works spanning from 1991 to the
present.

Having moved to the North with his family when he was
6 years old, Ca Lê Thắng vividly remembers the sensation
of his hand hanging over the edge of the bed, touching the
river water that had risen dramatically overnight during
the flood season.

It’s important to understand that the flood season is a
symbol of memory, not a subject to be depicted literally.
Ca Lê Thắng follows the flow of the water to express the
rhythms of consciousness, reconciling with the traumas of
war, easing the longing for his homeland, and rising from
personal losses. While in the past, we saw him weaving
through the chaos of the subconscious, now, in his most
recent series of paintings created from 2023-2024, the
scenery not only transforms fantastically on the surface,
but also reveals the powerful brushstrokes of Ca Lê Thắng
— the result of more than three decades of distilling,
pounding, covering, and assembling. His forms have now
fused into the essence of his own identity.

No longer influenced by Joan Miró, Picasso, or Mark
Rothko, Ca Lê Thắng has found his own unique artistic
language.

The real-virtual, mystical world is a "Private Realm," dreamlike, stirring the tranquil life of the female artist. Sometimes, one needs an abstract, illusory beauty to know
that they are still alive, still yearning to escape the limitations of human existence.

In pursuit of this beauty, Bùi Tiên arranges her own private world, rediscovering her identity, personal essence, and the meaning of her own existence. Bùi Tiên's
"Private Realm" is what appears in the subconscious—a strong urge toward a brilliant spiritual world where one is "willing to stain their clothes with blood to preserve
the brilliance in their faith." It is a fantastical world, yet the desire to immerse oneself in it is real.

And... Bùi Tiên has painted a "Private Realm" for herself.

Secret World

Exhibition hours: 09:30 – 18:30, Tuesday – Saturday & 09:30 – 17:00, Sunday, 29/11 – 29/12/2024

Location: TomuraLee Gallery

24 Street No. 1, An Khánh Ward, Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City.

In this exhibition, the artist presents 15 watercolor
works on paper. It is a modest self-reflection of a
young person observing the distant beauties of the
past and the present.

The exhibition "Sunshine Over the Flower Season"
depicts a return to explore transitional images, the
hues imbued with the rise and fall of time, and the
invisible silences in the minds of the viewers,
allowing them to delve deeper into their own
consciousness. Like a bridge between the past and
the present, the still life paintings... truly reflect a
youthful melody. The objects, as witnesses of history
and time, speak of nostalgia and the past through
many changes of ownership and the rise and fall of
eras.

Here are chrysanthemums, roses, lotuses... beauties
that have been intimately associated with the
Vietnamese people for centuries. Their beauty shines
brightly, releasing fragrance in a way that is both
quiet and vibrant, both mystical and fragile, both
free and constrained, both eager to rise in pride and
yearning to rest, both pure and murky, both real and
illusory... Could these contradictions be a mirror
reflecting the complex lives of people, both solitary
and interconnected, leaning on each other to reach
for the light?

All seems to be memories drifting in the past,
making us long to search for and gather each piece,
to preserve, cherish, and present it again through the
beauty of painting, where the brushstrokes of color
and light spread... Looking at history, toward
nostalgia... is, in fact, a way to reflect on our own
essence today. To know how to return is to move
forward tomorrow.

“As a child, I was haunted by dreams that wove through my feverish
chills, drawing me into a three-dimensional space where my doussie
wood bed stretched long and wide, with a green-and-red rush mat
resembling a field of colorful crops. There I lay, exposed and alone
on the ‘bed field,’ my eyes wide open, my body curled tight,
squinting at a shadowy figure gliding by, shifting and transforming
its shape like dark clouds. Terror gripped me as my body grew limp
and swayed upon the bed, which kept deforming beneath me.

Until I grew up…”

Within these recurring dreams of an exhausted body, an awareness
– and then an anatomy – took shape. This anatomy, aside from
acknowledging abstract meanings assigned to the body, dissects the
flesh to examine the blood and innards that once connected us to
the body of our mother. Result? Pain? Disgust when confronted
with an alienated endoscopy, compared to our imagination of the
self? Waiting for death? Acceptance.

The artist Bui Cong Khanh and Sàn Art gladly invite you all to
enter the space of ‘An Anatomy of Sadness’ to conduct a dissection
of our bodies and contemplate these questions.

HOW TO UNLOCK:

It takes about 13 to 20 minutes from the airport to our accommodation, depending on the time.

Please note that regular-priced taxis are actually impossible to catch at the airport, as drivers only have a few minutes to pick up passengers.

The quickest and most convenient option (RECOMMENDED): After exiting the gate, turn left and you'll find a line of 4-seat and 7-seat cars waiting, day or night. These cars
don’t use a meter but charge based on agreement. You can offer under 200,000 VND (including airport fees) for a ride to our property . Dont pay more.

A more affordable but sometimes inconvenient option: In Vietnam, there are ride-hailing apps similar to Uber, such as Grab and Xanh SM (Vietnam electric cars). If you have
4G or can access Wi-Fi, you can book a ride to our property via the app for around 100,000 VND. However, note that these cars have their own designated parking area right
across from the exit. Make sure to ask the driver where they are parked, or provide the column number where you're waiting, so they can find you. Sometimes, drivers may not
understand English, or you may not be able to find each other, leading to a cancelled ride, in which case you may need to book again.

A budget-friendly option, if you're carrying just a light backpack: You can leave the airport first and then book a ride. After exiting the gate, turn right and follow the signs,
passing through the motorbike and car parking areas, until you reach the main road (Truong Son street) and residential area. From there, you can book a motorbike (50,000
VND) or a ride-hailing taxi (90,000 VND) to pick you up at the PV Oil Gas Station, 45 Truong Son, P2, Q. Tan Binh. However, the walk to the exit is quite far, and you'll likely
be approached by many drivers offering rides, which can be tiring.

By bus (50 mins): from the airport you can catch bus number 109 or 152, get off at Tran Quoc Toan station and walk 16 minutes to our accommodation.

Bus 152 (public bus) stops right outside the International Arrivals area and costs 6,000 VND per person. If you have luggage, you will also need to pay for your luggage (the cost
for luggage is the same as the cost for you). The bus 152 takes about 50 minutes to travel from the airport to the city center. operates from 5:15 AM to 7:00 PM, with departures
every 15 to 20 minutes.

The yellow bus Route 109 (airport bus) has a maximum fare of 20,000 VND per trip to District 1. It departs from Column 12 at the International Terminal or Column 18 at the
Domestic Terminal. The bus stop is easily recognizable as it is painted yellow.

Motorbike Rental

If you want to rent a motorbike, you can go to Bui Vien Street or Pham Ngu Lao Street and choose from a row of rental shops. The rental price for a scooter is around 200,000
VND/day. You will sign a rental contract, and the owner may take a look at, take photos of, or temporarily hold your passport as a deposit until you return the bike.

SIM Card: You can buy a SIM card at an electronics supermarket or a telecom store. Alternatively, you can purchase one at the airport, though the price may be higher.

simcard

You can buy a SIM card at an electronics supermarket like The Gioi Di Dong or Dien May Xanh (next by) at 130 Tran Quang Khai Str, Dist 1, near us.

Or a telecom store like Vinaphone, Mobiphone (next by) at 80 Nguyen Du Str, Dist 1.

Alternatively, you can purchase one at the airport, though the price may be higher.

If you are using an eSIM abroad, you should go directly to a local telecom store in Vietnam to purchase an eSIM. Other places cannot provide eSIMs.

Memory and Body Mythology" intertwines Mahdi's personal
experiences with the societal, political, and environmental upheavals he
has faced. From enduring armed conflicts and the devastating 2004
tsunami in Aceh to witnessing contemporary social unrest, Mahdi has
transformed these intense memories into artworks. In his creative
process, he draws inspiration from Barthes' concept of mythology as a
mode of expression, manifested through various paintings he presents.
Through his artworks, Mahdi reveals a fusion of realism techniques and
symbolic forms to capture profound memories and experiences.
